Clicking Through Warwickshire: A Weekend of Engagement Shoots - Warwickshire Wedding Photographer


This past weekend was an absolute dream filled with love, laughter, and three beautiful couples in some of Warwickshire’s most scenic spots. Engagement shoots are always one of my favourite ways to get to know my couples before the big day – and this weekend didn’t disappoint!

I kicked things off on Saturday with the lovely Kay & Aaron at Ryton Pools. These two were full of fun and affection from the moment we met. Kay looked stunning in a bright red floaty dress that popped beautifully against the natural greens and browns of the park, while Aaron kept things simple and stylish in a grey shirt and jeans. They’re a couple who favour the natural, unposed style of photography – which is music to my ears! We spent the morning laughing, strolling, and capturing some truly sweet moments that radiated the love they share. I can't wait to photograph their summer wedding later this year.

Sunday morning rolled around with another engagement shoot, this time at the picturesque Walton Hall in Wellesbourne with Kirstie & Joe. I first met these two at a wedding fair at the end of 2023, and it was so lovely to reconnect. Walton Hall was a brilliant choice – the grounds are absolutely gorgeous and we were lucky enough to get perfect weather. Joe admitted he wasn’t the biggest fan of having his photo taken, but within minutes he was relaxed and smiling, and we captured some genuinely joyful shots around the lake. Their love and sense of humour really shone through.


To round off the weekend, I met Jane & Paul at the historic Kenilworth Castle grounds. Jane has strong ties to the area, having grown up nearby, which made the setting feel extra special. Neither of them had done a photoshoot before, but you’d never know it – they were absolute naturals! We chatted about life, work, and their plans while capturing sweet, candid moments throughout the castle grounds. Their connection was so evident and made for some truly heartfelt images.

Spending the weekend with these three amazing couples reminded me just how special engagement shoots are. They’re included in all wedding photography packages over 6 hours, so if you're planning your big day, let’s have a chat! I can’t wait to capture more love stories this year. 💍✨
